Here is Linda's choice of worship hymn for this week. She introduced this old hymn on Facebook like this.
I’m going right back to my childhood this week, with one from the Redemption hymn book. I was brought up in Bethany Gospel Hall (a Brethren church). This was one of the “good going” ones and I liked it as a wee girl and hearing my Grandpa singing at the top of his voice (as he often did )
We lost a dear friend at the end of last week and while we are very sad about this, we also take hope and reassurance that Jean knew that whatever life throws at us we can sing with confidence “for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able, to keep that which I’ve committed, unto Him against that day”
I love this old hymn. It is a timeless classic.
