Archie plays 'Away in a Manger' (Video) 12/12/2023

Today we have a video using a well known Christmas hymn traditionally sung by children. The slant is on how we as adults react to the story of Christmas, especially in times of conflict and bloodshed in the near Middle East. Archie Deans is a relative of mine - my grandfather and his grandmother were brother and sister in the Neilly family which moved from Ballymoney in Northern Ireland to Barrmill in Ayrshire (via Philadelphia in the U.S.A.). Like me, Archie is a retired teacher. He recorded these videos originally during lockdown and he kindly agreed for me to use them for advent videos on Dayshare.
