Beth Easton is very relaxed as she gives this wee talk on her series on Women of the Bible. Today, she is looking at the lovely story which we find in the fourth chapter of the fourth gospel. John tells us about Jesus' apparently chance encounter with a Samaritan woman - at the well at Sychar. Beth highlights that Jesus planned to meet with this despised woman and how her life was changed by this meeting with Jesus. Beth also brings this up-to-date with a story which my dear wife, Janie recounted at the Women's Bible Study. This video is homely but challenging and is worth watching.
A God appointment for sure for Jesus and the lady at the well ! I used to live like that lady until I met with Jesus in 2017 and I became a follower of Jesus and was a changed person inside and out. Praise the Lord.
In Beths talk,we hear that Janie also had a God appointment with the lady in Starbucks ...Although Janie was tired, the opportunity came to have this chat about the Lord Jesus. How encouraging this would have been for Janie and for others to hear about this encounter!
